Spring Seeds

Posted by on

.

So for my staycation activity I decided to start some seeds to get ready to plant for spring!   For this activity you need the following;  seed starting mix,  a seed starting tray or pots ( I chose to buy mine but you can certainly reuse items around your home such as egg cartons or to-go containers), and seeds of your choice (read back of seed package to chose the best options for your area).

.
.

Step 1.  Fill tray or pots with seed starting mix, leaving about a quarter inch at the top

.
.

Step 2.  Moisten soil

.

.

Step 3.  Plant seeds according to package directions

.
.

Step 4.  Give them a little more water

.
.

Step 5.  Cover your newly planted seeds with plastic or paper or put in a little greenhouse

.
.

.

Step 6. (Optional)  Serenade them with songs, give them pictures to look at while they grow, and set up mini lanterns for ambiance.  Advice from my gardening helper.
