Revival Community | How We're Giving Back in June
2018 is the year of collaboration for Revival, in June we are focusing on giving back to our community. Below are a list of organizations we have donated to this month and what we're doing to continue to support them! As apart of Revival's community yourself, we hope you'll find a way to join us, whether that is a donation to Emma Goldman, wearing a SASS button, or attending the PRIDE parade! Much Love, Revival
June 2nd: Wear Orange + SASS
Last Saturday we wore orange, decked out our window and donated in solidarity of Mom's Demand Action group who hosted the events for National Gun Violence Awareness Day here in Iowa City.
Additionally, we've teamed up with local high schoolers to sell there tee-shirts, sweatshirts and SASS buttons. The Students Against School Shootings (SASS) are an amazing group of young people that are staging future walkouts, writing representatives, getting their peers to vote and inspiring more students to actively share their stance on gun violence. Proceeds will go to SASS so that they can strengthen their voice in our community.

June 16th: PRIDE

From employees to customers, from allies to advocates, Revival's community will always be apart of the LGTBQ community here in Iowa City. Every year in June, we take an extra moment to celebrate that community during Pride. You'll see us at the PRIDE parade, cheering on our drag queens and kings, and celebrating all things rainbow in store and out. Happy Pride month!

June 16th: Girls On the Run Shop Crawl

Women's reproductive health continues to apart of Revival's giving mission. During Junes, we've gifted Emma Goldman Clinic 50 $10 Revival gift cards to give out to those who donate to Emma Goldman, additionally we are matching that donation in support of the amazing work they do!
